Can Transcription And Translation Take Place The Same Way In Prokaryotes And Eukaryotes?
26Oct 2009
Think about a make up of prokaryotes as well as eukaryotes. Can transcription as well as interpretation take place a same approach in these opposite cells? Explain.
In a general language, they are same because all are made of same constituent unit i.e. CELL. But there are some basic differences, like
1 Type of enzymes involved
2 No. of enzymes and protein factors present
3 Site of translation and transcription
4 Duration of these processes
prokaryotic and eukaryotic transcription basically involves the same principles. but ther are differences in the transcription factors , pattern of enzyme activities etcc..
